Vítor Alves Benite (born February 20, 1990 in Jundiaí, SP), better known as Benite, is a Brazilian professional basketball player with UCAM Murcia.〔(Benite destaca apoio da torcida do Flamengo no NBB: 'Maravilhoso' ) 25 January 2013: "O ala Vítor Benite espera que o apoio seja cada vez maior. "〕 He was a member of the Brazil national basketball team at the 2011 FIBA Americas Championship, where Brazil finished in 2nd place.
==Early life==
Benite is an engineer's son, named Francisco Carlos Benite, also known as Frico. Francisco went to Rio de Janeiro to work. Then the coach of Flamengo known as Boleta saw Benite playing with his brothers. Boleta led them to Flamengo, where Benite started his career, as pre-mirim, in 1997. He studied in the morning and played in the afternoon. After that, he went to Campinas playing at Clube de Regatas Campinas. Then Benite moved to Rio Claro Futebol Clube, where he won few titles.
